Together with other young people aged 15 to 25, you’ll become part of the ship’s company. You’ll learn to take the helm, navigate, handle the sails and stand watch during longer offshore passages. No previous sailing experience is required—enthusiasm, curiosity and a spirit of adventure are all you need. Life at sea has a way of bringing people together. Away from the constant distractions of everyday life, there’s time for genuine conversations, teamwork and unforgettable experiences. What can you expect?
Become part of the ship’s company
On board, you’re far more than a passenger—you become an active member of the ship’s company. Together we sail the Eendracht safely towards the Netherlands while learning the fundamentals of offshore sailing. Throughout the voyage, you’ll take part in our “four hours on, eight hours off” watch system.
An adventure you’ll share together
Life on board quickly creates a strong sense of community. You prepare meals together with the cook, share every meal, stand watch together, help keep the ship shipshape, experience spectacular sunsets and sunrises at sea, and support one another whenever needed. Many participants leave with friendships that last long after the voyage has ended.
