240329 Paasweekend zeilen

Zin om heerlijk uit te waaien tijdens de Paasdagen? Stap dan op 29 april 2024 aan boord van de Eendracht in onze thuishaven Rotterdam. Onze gastvrije bemanningsleden zullen je bij aankomst met alle plezier het zeilschip laten zien. De koffie en thee staan klaar en zodra iedereen is ‘ingecheckt’, geeft de schipper uitleg over het reilen en zeilen aan boord. De Eendracht vertrekt diezelfde dag nog naar zee.

Bestemming

Waar gaan we naartoe? Dat is een veelgestelde vraag. We laten ons leiden door de wind en het weer en we gaan er tijdens dit zeilweekend niet van uit dat we een haven aandoen. Als het wel mogelijk is, dan zullen we even stoppen om op de vaste wal de benen te strekken. We gaan vooral lekker zeilen! De Eendracht meert aan het eind van deze zeiltrip weer af in de haven van Rotterdam.

Dit is inbegrepen

• Beddengoed
• Volpension (ontbijt, lunch en diner)
• Onbeperkt koffie, thee en tapwater (fruit verkrijgbaar)
• Indeling in een 2- of 4-persoonshut
  Bij jouw boeking kan je aangeven of je gebruik wilt maken van een kooi in een 2- of 4-persoonshut, mits beschikbaar. Houdt hierbij rekening met verschillende prijsklassen. De jongeren die de jongerenprijs betalen hebben deze keuze niet.
• Liever een hut alleen? Ook dat is mogelijk. Hiervoor geldt een toeslag van 50% van de p.p. boordprijs voor een tweepersoonshut. Let op: beperkte beschikbaarheid.

Reisinformatie

Aan boord draai je mee in het wachtsysteem van ‘4 uur op en 8 uur af’. Op deze manier kan het schip dag en nacht door zeilen. Bij elke wacht horen verschillende taken zoals; schoonmaken en assisteren in de kombuis, hijsen, strijken en trimmen van de zeilen, helpen bij het overstag gaan, achter het roer staan en helpen bij de navigatie. Leer zeilen en vorm samen met je wacht een hecht team. Ervaring is niet nodig want je bent onderdeel van een professionele crew! Onze bemanning leert je graag alles over het reilen en zeilen aan boord van de Eendracht. Buiten de wacht om is er alle tijd om te ontspannen en te genieten van de zee.

240329 Easter weekend sailing

Fancy getting a breath of fresh air during Easter? Then board the Eendracht in our home port of Rotterdam on 29 March 2024. Our hospitable crew members will be happy to show you the sailing ship on arrival. The coffee and tea are ready and as soon as everyone has ‘checked in’, the skipper explains the ins and outs on board. De Eendracht leaves for sea that same day.

Destination

Where are we going? That’s a frequently asked question. We are guided by the wind and the weather and we do not assume that we will call in a harbor during this sailing weekend. If it is possible, we will stop to stretch our legs on the mainland. We especially enjoy sailing! At the end of this sailing trip, De Eendracht will moor again in the port of Rotterdam.

Life on board

You will be welcomed by our professional and mainly voluntary crew members. The crew will guide you to your cabin where you will have the time to unpack and set up your cabin. Once everybody has checked in the voyage will start with a welcome and safety briefing from the captain. You will be introduced to the crew and your fellow crew mates. As soon as you step on board, you can enjoy it to the fullest. Not only the cozy atmosphere and the beautiful views, but also culinary, you will not be short during this trip. Our ship’s cook prepares the tastiest meals for all those on board. This trip is full board, so breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

• Unlimited coffee, tea and water (fruit available)
• Layout in a 2 or 4 person cabin
• When booking you can indicate whether you want to use a cabin in a 2- or 4-person cabin, if available. Take into account the different price ranges. People who pay the youth price do not have this choice.
• Prefer a cabin alone? This is also possible. There is a surcharge of 50% of the p.p.p. on-board price for a double cabin. Please note: limited availability.

• Transfer from and to the ship
• Any excursions during the trip
• Travel insurance, MANDATORY
• Cancellation insurance, recommended
• Drinks from the bar and souvenirs

It is possible to pay by card on board.

Voyage information

On board, you will participate in a 4 hours on, 8 hours off watch system. In this way the ship can sail day and night. Each watch has different duties such as; steering the ship, lookout duties, various sail handling operations like setting, trimming and taking in sails. Small cleaning tasks and assisting in the galley are also part of the job! Learn to sail and form a close team with your watch. Sailing experience is not required as the professional crew on board will introduce you in all the aspects of sailing! Our crew is happy to teach you everything about the ins and outs on board of the Eendracht. When not on watch, there is plenty of time to relax and enjoy the sea.
