Word jij al warm van een armada van Tall Ships, trainees op de kade, de geur van getaande zeilen en touwen, en een strijdlustig gevoel? Strijd dan mee voor de eerste plek tijdens de Tall Ships’ Races. Het is alle hands aan dek tijdens deze reis. Maak vrienden, onvergetelijke momenten en nieuwe ervaringen. Actie en avontuur op zee staan centraal tijdens deze reizen.

Onze crew heet je welkom na een welkomstwoord van onze schipper begint het zeilavontuur direct met je hut inrichten, kennismaken met je reisgenoten en de eerste uitleg over het schip

Tijdens deze reis draai je mee in het wachtsysteem van ‘4 uur op – 8 uur af’. Leer zeezeilen, stap achter het roer en vorm samen met je wacht een hecht team. Jullie houden de posities van de andere zeilschepen in de gaten en navigeren de Eendracht naar de finish. Ervaring is niet nodig, want je bent onderdeel van een professionele crew.

Het leven aan boord

Je wordt welkom geheten door onze professionele en grotendeels vrijwillige bemanningsleden. Vervolgens is er alle tijd om de tas uit te pakken en de hut in te richten. De koffie en thee staat klaar en de schipper houdt zijn welkomstwoord. Ook wordt er een veiligheidsinstructie gegeven en maak je kennis met jouw medereizigers. Zodra je aan boord stapt is het optimaal genieten. Niet alleen van de gezellige sfeer en de mooie uitzichten, ook culinair kom je tijdens deze reis niks te kort. Onze scheepskok bereid de lekkerste maaltijden voor alle opvarenden. Deze reis is volpension, dus ontbijt, lunch en diner zijn inbegrepen.

Reisinformatie

Aan boord draai je mee in het wachtsysteem van ‘4 uur op en 8 uur af’. Op deze manier kan het schip dag en nacht door zeilen. Bij elke wacht horen verschillende taken zoals; schoonmaken en assisteren in de kombuis, hijsen, strijken en trimmen van de zeilen, helpen bij het overstag gaan, achter het roer staan en helpen bij de navigatie. Leer zeilen en vorm samen met je wacht een hecht team. Ervaring is niet nodig want je bent onderdeel van een professionele crew! Onze bemanning leert je graag alles over het reilen en zeilen aan boord van de Eendracht. Buiten de wacht om is er alle tijd om te ontspannen en te genieten van de zee.

Are you a real adventurer and not afraid of a new challenge? Then are the Tall Ships’ Races something for you. Pack your bag and step aboard Sailingship Eendracht and discover the world of sea sailing together with your peers.

Do you get a warm feeling by seeing an armada of Tall Ships, trainees on the quay, the smell of tawny sails and ropes, and a competitive feeling? Then compete for first place in the Tall Ships’ Races. It’s all hands on deck during this trip. Make friends, unforgettable moments and new experiences. Action and adventure at sea stay central during these voyages.

Our crew welcomes you after a word of welcome from our skipper, the sailing adventure starts immediately with furnishing your cabin, getting to know your travel companions and the first explanation about the ship

During this trip you will participate in the watch system of ‘4 o’clock on – 8 o’clock off’. Learn to sail at sea, step behind the helm and form a close-knit team with your watch. You keep an eye on the positions of the other sailing ships and navigate the Eendracht to the finish. No experience is necessary, because you are part of a professional crew.

Life on board

You will be welcomed by our professional and mainly voluntary crew members. The crew will guide you to your cabin where you will have the time to unpack and set up your cabin. Once everybody has checked in the voyage will start with a welcome and safety briefing from the captain. You will be introduced to the crew and your fellow crew mates. As soon as you step on board, you can enjoy it to the fullest. Not only the cozy atmosphere and the beautiful views, but also culinary, you will not be short during this trip. Our ship’s cook prepares the tastiest meals for all those on board. This trip is full board, so breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

• Layout in a 2 or 4 person cabin
• When booking you can indicate whether you want to use a cabin in a 2- or 4-person cabin, if available. Take into account the different price ranges. People who pay the youth price do not have this choice.
• Prefer a cabin alone? This is also possible. There is a surcharge of 50% of the p.p.p. on-board price for a double cabin. Please note: limited availability.

Voyage information

On board, you will participate in a 4 hours on, 8 hours off watch system. In this way the ship can sail day and night. Each watch has different duties such as; steering the ship, lookout duties, various sail handling operations like setting, trimming and taking in sails. Small cleaning tasks and assisting in the galley are also part of the job! Learn to sail and form a close team with your watch. Sailing experience is not required as the professional crew on board will introduce you in all the aspects of sailing! Our crew is happy to teach you everything about the ins and outs on board of the Eendracht. When not on watch, there is plenty of time to relax and enjoy the sea.
