Ready for the real challenge? During Race 2 of the Tall Ships Races 2026, you will sail from the vibrant city of Antwerp to the stunning Stavanger in Norway. This eight-day voyage across the North Sea is all about pushing boundaries, meeting new people, and working together as one team to take on the race.
You will step aboard the Eendracht as a trainee and depart as a seasoned sailor. Alongside young people from around the world, you will experience what it truly means to live and work at sea. No prior experience is required—just courage, dedication, and a spirit of adventure.
What to expect?
- Serious Racing Experience: This leg is a true offshore race: long watches, full sails, sharp courses, and night duties. The North Sea shows its most powerful side, and you’ll be right in the middle of it. Every watch counts, every decision matters—and the best part? You do it all together.
- Watch System: As with all Tall Ships Races, life on board follows a four-hours-on, eight-hours-off schedule. During your watch, you will learn to steer, navigate, trim sails, and work together as a team. Our permanent crew is always on hand to teach you everything—you just need to bring your enthusiasm.
- Living Together on Board: Outside of your watch duties, there is time for rest, relaxation, and socializing. You will make friends, share stories, and grow as a person. At sea, away from outside distractions, the most meaningful conversations and memories are made.
