Toe aan een korte break? Altijd al eens op een groot zeilschip willen zeilen, maar is een lange reis nog te hoog gegrepen? Hou je van avontuur, actie en gezelligheid? Boek dan een plaats op deze reis en ontdek de wereld van het zeezeilen.

In de bruisende stad Rotterdam stap je aan boord. Je wordt welkom geheten door onze professionele en grotendeels vrijwillige bemanningsleden. De koffie en thee staan klaar en zodra iedereen aan boord is, houdt de schipper zijn welkomstwoord. De trossen worden losgegooid en we varen over de Nieuwe Waterweg naar zee. Na ongeveer 2,5 uur varen, komen we aan op de Noordzee. Dan is het; Alle hens aan dek! En we beginnen met het hijsen van de zeilen.

Waar gaan we naartoe?

We laten ons meevoeren door de elementen van de natuur. Het is mogelijk dat er een haven aan wordt gedaan. Waar we naartoe gaan? Dat bepaalt de wind. ‘True adventures are made at sea!’

Dit is inbegrepen

• Beddengoed
• Volpension (ontbijt, lunch en diner)
• Onbeperkt koffie, thee en water (fruit beschikbaar)
• Indeling in een 2- of 4-persoonshut
  Bij jouw boeking kan je aangeven of je gebruik wilt maken van een kooi in een 2- of 4-persoonshut, mits beschikbaar. Houdt hierbij rekening met verschillende prijsklassen. De jongeren die de jongerenprijs betalen hebben deze keuze niet.
• Liever een hut alleen? Ook dat is mogelijk. Hiervoor geldt een toeslag van 50% van de p.p. boordprijs voor een tweepersoonshut. Let op: beperkte beschikbaarheid.

Reisinformatie

Aan boord draai je mee in het wachtsysteem van ‘4 uur op en 8 uur af’. Op deze manier kan het schip dag en nacht door zeilen. Bij elke wacht horen verschillende taken zoals; schoonmaken en assisteren in de kombuis, hijsen, strijken en trimmen van de zeilen, helpen bij het overstag gaan, achter het roer staan en helpen bij de navigatie. Leer zeilen en vorm samen met je wacht een hecht team. Ervaring is niet nodig want je bent onderdeel van een professionele crew! Onze bemanning leert je graag alles over het reilen en zeilen aan boord van de Eendracht. Buiten de wacht om is er alle tijd om te ontspannen en te genieten van de zee.

Ready for a short break? Have you always wanted to sail on a large sailing ship, but is a long journey still too ambitious? Do you like adventure, action and fun? Then book a place on this trip and discover the world of sea sailing.

You step on board in the bustling city of Rotterdam. You will be welcomed by our professional and largely voluntary crew. The coffee and tea are ready and as soon as everyone is on board, the skipper gives his word of welcome. The ropes are released and we sail to the sea over the Nieuwe Waterweg. After about 2.5 hours of sailing, we arrive at the North Sea. Then it is; All hands on deck! And we start hoisting the sails.

Where are we going?

During this long sailing weekend it is possible to visit one harbor where you can stretch your legs. Where are we going? That determines the wind. ‘True adventures are made at sea!’

Life on board

You will be welcomed by our professional and mainly voluntary crew members. The crew will guide you to your cabin where you will have the time to unpack and set up your cabin. Once everybody has checked in the voyage will start with a welcome and safety briefing from the captain. You will be introduced to the crew and your fellow crew mates. As soon as you step on board, you can enjoy it to the fullest. Not only the cozy atmosphere and the beautiful views, but also culinary, you will not be short during this trip. Our ship’s cook prepares the tastiest meals for all those on board. This trip is full board, so breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

• Layout in a 2 or 4 person cabin
• When booking you can indicate whether you want to use a cabin in a 2- or 4-person cabin, if available. Take into account the different price ranges. People who pay the youth price do not have this choice.
• Prefer a cabin alone? This is also possible. There is a surcharge of 50% of the p.p.p. on-board price for a double cabin. Please note: limited availability.

Voyage information

On board, you will participate in a 4 hours on, 8 hours off watch system. In this way the ship can sail day and night. Each watch has different duties such as; steering the ship, lookout duties, various sail handling operations like setting, trimming and taking in sails. Small cleaning tasks and assisting in the galley are also part of the job! Learn to sail and form a close team with your watch. Sailing experience is not required as the professional crew on board will introduce you in all the aspects of sailing! Our crew is happy to teach you everything about the ins and outs on board of the Eendracht. When not on watch, there is plenty of time to relax and enjoy the sea.
